Our Team
Dr. Latisha Brown, LCSW | DBH
Founder & CEO | DV AdvocateHi there! I’m Latisha Brown, a licensed Arizona therapist and domestic violence advocate. I bring over four years of experience working with veterans, adolescents, and young adults, helping them navigate the challenges of trauma, anxiety, and depression.
My goal is to make a difference by being different. I provide a compassionate and supportive space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we’ll work on fostering growth, building resilience, and creating meaningful change.
I specialize in treating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, and depression, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). My focus is helping you embrace and get comfortable with change—whether that means overcoming fears, building healthier habits, or developing new ways to cope with life’s challenges.
Healing is a journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you take the steps toward greater confidence, well-being, and fulfillment. Let’s navigate this path together!
Kacy Garfield, LMSW
Hi, I’m Kacy Garfield, LMSW, a Licensed Master Social Worker and therapist in Arizona. I work with adolescents, college-age students, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, identity development, life transitions, and the weight of expectations—from themselves, others, and the world around them.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I strive to meet you where you are and create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported—without judgment or pressure to “fix” yourself. I don’t view people as broken; instead, I focus on helping clients build insight, resilience, and self-trust as they reconnect with their inner strengths.
I provide individual therapy for adolescents and adults using trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches, including Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT skills, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and Internal Family Systems–informed practices. I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodiversity (including ADHD), intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, emotional regulation challenges, addiction, and major life transitions.
Therapy with me begins with building a genuine human connection and understanding what matters most to you. My role is to walk alongside you as you heal, grow, and discover new ways of living with greater self-compassion, authenticity, and meaning.
